New York-based artist Arghavan Khasravi was born in Iranian and it is her juxtaposing upbringing that inspires her artwork, spotlighted in her new UNCERTAINTY series. Growing up in Iran, she draws these cultural influences and applies them to her work through the use of materials, emblems, and symbols.

Now working together with Cawse Studyo, the UNCERTAINTY series is a semi-biographical piece of work. She recreates an [original painting from 2020](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/painting-exhibition) using a tradition that is true to her background, [Persian tapestry](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/june-st-george).
