It is a piece of furniture that resembles a soft shape with an interactive and inviting structure described by the brand as a piece that allows users to interact with it genuinely "as children do." The UMI chair is made up of two cylindrical shapes that bend to create a horseshoe shape to create the back of the chair and the seating section. The stable base foundation is made up of four chunky legs and creates ergonomic proportions for a comfortable position. It is made from a [plywood frame with textile upholstery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sedia-tonda) for a soft touch.
