This electric motorbike is debuting via an [IndieGogo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buxus-eva) campaign hosted by Ecobodaa Kenya that will soon go live. This electric motorbike promises to revolutionize the micro-mobility industry in Africa by bringing [zero-emissions, high-performance](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wn7), and functional utility to the table.

The Umeme 3000 boasts a 3kW mid-drive motor that delivers a top speed of 120 kilometers per hour by default, which can be manually unlocked to achieve 150 kph. The e-motorbike is powered by a 20kg, 3.24 kWh battery pack that delivers an approximate range of 80 kilometers on a single battery or 160 kilometers with two equipped batteries. Perhaps the most noteworthy feature of the Umeme 3000 is its acceleration and performance. The bike accelerates from 0-90 kph in approximately 5 seconds and features enough modular utility to be useful to both errand runners and delivery workers alike.
