The art all features [realistic paintings of animals](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fibredog) such as bears, wolves and foxes wandering around with children who are exploring urban areas. One of the more beautiful of the paintings is one in which a young girl shielding her eyes as a bear stands protectively behind her on a dilapidated street. Another particularly poignant painting is one in which a young girl walks alone with her head down with [graffiti adorning the walls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1) behind her. These beautiful ultra-realistic portraits manage to capture the innocence of fairy tales with the difficult reality of the real world. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 59% | Activity: 67% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Gen Alpha, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Realistic Fairy Tale Art:** Creating ultra-realistic artwork that combines fantasy with reality. - **Exploratory Children’s Art:** Creating art featuring animals and children exploring their world. - **Urban Wildlife Art:** Capturing the beauty and grace of wild animals in urban settings. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art:** There is an opportunity for artists to create compelling art by blending reality with surrealism. - **Children’s Books and Media:** Incorporating ultra-realistic art into children’s books or animated media to create a unique and captivating experience. - **Nature Conservation:** Using art to highlight the beauty of wildlife in urban areas and raise awareness about urban conservation efforts. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Striking Urban Wildlife Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clare-allin.md) - [Playful Modern Art Shows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/brent-estabrook-debuts-storytime.md) - [AI Pet Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawmypet.md) - [Primal-Themed Bronze Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-return.md) - [Oil Painting-Inspired Rugs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antonio-santn.md) - [Playful Balloon Sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/keff-joons.md) - [Vibrantly Colorful Dynamic Artwork](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kayla-rumpp.md) - [AI Pet Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petpic-ai.md) - [AI-Generated Real-World Transformations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ai-generated-world.md)
