The concept bed designed by Marisa Jahn and Steve Shada is a dreamy [white rowboat](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chill-series) decked out with a few seductive luxuries. [Sensual red fabric padding and pillows](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roundish-bed) line the boat, making it warm and comfy. A silver champagne bucket and retro gramophone keep your bubbly chilled and the melodies playing softly in the background. Forget the bedroom--this lounge would be great at a lakeside cottage or even in the backyard under a tree. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.6/10 - Popularity: 8% | Activity: 63% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Romance](https://www.trendhunter.com/romance) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Romantic Bed Designs:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in creating unique, romantic bed designs that offer luxurious and intimate experiences. - **Outdoor Lounge Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in developing outdoor lounge furniture that creates a cozy and romantic atmosphere. - **Luxury Lakeside Experiences:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in providing luxury experiences for individuals who desire romantic getaways in lakeside settings. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in the furniture design industry by incorporating romantic and luxurious elements into bed designs. - **Outdoor Furniture:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in the outdoor furniture industry by creating comfortable and romantic lounge furniture for outdoor spaces. - **Hospitality & Tourism:** Disruptive innovation opportunities in the hospitality and tourism industry by offering unique and luxurious lakeside experiences for romantic getaways. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Chic Curved Bed Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bedroom-furniture.md) - [Wooden Structural Outdoor Bedes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hut-lounge-bed.md) - [Blue Floating Bed Frames](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/floating-bed-frame.md) - [Sliding Desk-Equipped Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/boomerang-bed.md) - [Elegant Exterior Lounge Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lounge-bed.md) - [Fairytale-Inspired Bed Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/circu-mr-bunny-bed.md) - [Artful Four-Poster Bed Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/day-bed-installation.md) - [Asian Watercraft-Inspired Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sampan.md) - [High-End Sound System Beds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/savoir-x-kef-seventy-five.md)
