The design is essentially a viewing strip for photos which you have taken and had processed as slides instead of prints. The slides are inserted into the end of the [illuminated unit](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lightbox-power-strip) and then can be hung either horizontally or vertically depending on your space. What a chic and contemporary way to show off your pictures. The Slide Lamp comes in 3 different sizes and cost between $140-$200 from SUCK UK. The largest holds 36 images. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 39% | Activity: 19% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/photography) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Photographic Display:** Opportunity for innovative photo display solutions using modern lighting fixtures. - **Modern Interior Decor:** Chance to create contemporary lighting options that combine functionality with artistic expression. - **Customized Photo Products:** Potential to capitalize on personalized photo merchandise by offering unique ways to showcase images. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation potential lies in incorporating modern photo display solutions to enhance interior spaces. - **Photography Services:** Opportunity to offer slide processing and slide-compatible displays as an alternative to traditional prints. - **E-commerce Retail:** Potential market for online retailers to provide customizable and contemporary photo display options. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dual-Purpose Camera-Like Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nostalgian-floor-lamp-clock.md) - [Overhead Light Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/xgimi-magic-lamp.md) - [Vintage Projector Puzzle Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magic-lantern.md) - [Scenic Architecture Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/architecture-inspired-table-lamp.md) - [Projected Photo Canvas](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pixybeam.md) - [Contemporary Home Theatre Projectors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/magic-lamp.md) - [Customizable Color Photography Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/photography-light.md) - [Stackable Modular Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/module-table-lamp.md) - [Modular LED Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ilo-lamp.md)
