On October 1st, 2007, Diamond Lounge, an elite online members club will open for business. A social networking site for the 'genuine' elite, Diamond Lounge is very selective on who it lets join (supposedly only five percent of the 5,000 who applied). What does it take to be a member? Success, sophistication, attractiveness and of course, money.
Implications - Diamond Lounge states that they have a large focus on privacy for the people that join. They will also invite members to special events that are kept secret from everyone else. Diamond Lounge is so extreme that the location of the event is only published at the very last minute! It all sounds so sneaky!
