The UGO Safety Brakes, which were designed by [University of New South Wales](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/balance-bike1) student James Wansey, work based on a wireless connection between a remote sensor held by the parent and a brake system fitted to the wheel. Should the stroller get beyond a distance of 2 meters from the parent, the wheels will lock. As we all know, taking care of your child is never a joke.
