Not only is the stove lighter than the average camp cooker, but it is also significantly smaller. As a result, the handy stove is the perfect choice for campers looking to lighten their load. The Genesis Base Camp Stove is a two-burner stove that is powered by a propane cylinder. Unlike other camp stoves that are surrounded by a heavy metal frame, this cooker boasts a compact clamshell design that weighs just under 10 pounds. Each burner produces 10,000 BTUs and the whole system can be set up in just minutes. There is also a handy temperature control and simmer setting that allows campers to do everything from cooking bacon to searing vegetables. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 77% | Activity: 61% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/gadgets) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Portable Camping Stoves:** Designing small and lightweight camping stoves for maximum portability and convenience. - **Compact and Lightweight Design:** Developing compact and lightweight designs for camping stoves to reduce the burden for campers. - **Efficient Fuel Consumption:** Creating camping stoves that maximize fuel consumption to offer longer usage times. ### Who This Affects Most - **Outdoor Gear:** Innovating the outdoor gear industry by introducing compact camping stoves for adventure enthusiasts. - **Camping Equipment:** Revolutionizing the camping equipment industry by offering lightweight and efficient camping stoves. - **Cooking Appliances:** Transforming the cooking appliances industry with innovative portable stoves for outdoor cooking. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Versatile Outdoor Chef Stoves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cascade-3in1-camping-stove.md) - [Three-in-One Camping Stoves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dometic-cadac-2-cook-3-turbo.md) - [Dual-Purpose Camping Stoves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fire-maple-sunflower-x.md) - [Legacy-Honoring Camping Stoves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/coleman-1900-collection-3in1-propane-stove.md) - [Eclectic Camping Cook Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/camping-cooking-kit.md) - [Minimalist Outdoor Stove Units](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lava-box.md) - [Ultra-Lightweight Camping Stoves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/firetower-ti.md) - [Mini Smoke-Free Camper Stoves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/biolite-ecozoom-dura.md) - [Multi-Modal Folding Stoves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/folding-stove.md)
