Architecture firm SO? has just completed the Two Face House located by the western village of Mugla in Turkey. The residence is complete with two contrasting facades that create a warm shelter and captivating views of its surroundings. It was designed with a focus on transforming the environmental challenges on-site into opportunities. The home faces south and the [solid stone facade](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-atrium-house) protects the home from the sun whilst the [timber-framed facade](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/house-w-1) faces north with windows for natural lighting.

The founding partner of SO?, Sevince Bayrak shares the design concept behind the home with [Dezeen](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/two-sisters) "The core concept of the design is to create a comfortable and enjoyable living space in a remote village for a couple, transforming environmental challenges into opportunities. The two facades of the house are designed with completely opposite materials and permeability, in parallel with the environmental conditions and architectural approach."
