The [hanging lamp](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luno-lamp) is part of the designer’s ‘Open Series.’ All the fixtures in the ‘Open Series’ are built with delineated contours and purposely open interiors. The [angular structure](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/caleide) of the Twelve Piece Lamp is what gives it its contemporary finesse but the shape is reminiscent of a leadlight lamp immediately allowing a viewer to understand the object’s function. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 1% | Activity: 47% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Geometric Lighting Fixtures:** New designs inspired by geometric shapes and structures for lighting fixtures can provide a fresh alternative to traditional designs. - **Open Series Lighting:** The Open Series design philosophy provides opportunities for innovative uses of negative space in lighting fixtures. - **Contemporary Leadlight Lamps:** Incorporating the shape and style of leadlight lamps into contemporary designs can create visually striking lighting fixtures. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Interior Design:** Geometric lighting fixtures based on the Open Series design can add a contemporary twist to interior spaces. - **Lighting Design:** Exploring new designs inspired by geometric shapes and negative space can lead to innovative lighting fixture designs. - **Home Decor:** Integrating contemporary leadlight lamp designs into home decor product lines can provide consumers with visually striking and functional lighting options. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Archetypal Conical Light Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fragile-lamp.md) - [Dynamic Artful Light Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ghost-chandelier.md) - [Geometric Bar-Like Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/empyrean.md) - [Otherworldly Lighting Fixture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/otherworldly-lighting-fixture.md) - [Suspended Halo Light Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lamplox-minimalist-floor-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Metal Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape.md) - [Infinitely Expandable Light Fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cube-one-table-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Geometry Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/polyshape-lamp.md) - [Geometric Industrial Desktop Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nebula-lamp.md)
