# Stitched Seasoning Sacks The Tuzu Biberi Salt & Pepper Shaker Brings Rustic Appeal Home By Meghan Young | Published 2010-11-19 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tuzu-biberi-salt-pepper References: [cribcandy](http://cribcandy.com/home/picks/tuzu-biberi-salt-pepper-shakers-by-emir-rifat-isik/71719/) & [mocoloco](http://mocoloco.com/fresh2/2010/11/15/tuzu-biberi-salt-and-pepper-shakers-by-emir-rifat-isik.php) Bring little rustic accents into your kitchen with the Tuzu Biberi Salt & Pepper Shaker. As simple [seasoning containers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-spice-dispenser), they not only do the job well, they do it in style. Designed by Emir Rifat Isik, the Tuzu Biberi Salt & Pepper Shaker combines textile experimentation with industrial design. As a rather literal creation, 'Tuzu Biberi' actually means 'salt and pepper' in Turkish. What I like about this [tableware design](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/il-buco-vita-x-commune-design) is its details, especially how is becomes crumbled when emptied.
