Many of the items featured in this collection are composed of [incongruous angles and outlines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/atypical-chair), making the installation an experiment in [modern interior decor](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/la-pipe). TurrinBy insists on distinguishing itself apart from the mold precisely by emphasizing qualities that are "out of place." A beautiful wooden cabinet is decorated by a series of [square patterns with random tiles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trama-collection) either protruding or sinking into the structure, drawing attention to design's focus on randomness and diversity. Other pieces blend together various furniture ideas. A recliner rests a top a transparent case displaying a collections of books underneath, acting as both shelving unit and seating arrangement. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.8/10 - Popularity: 64% | Activity: 73% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Deconstruction Design Trend:** The trend in furniture design where forms are broken down into their component pieces, creating abstract yet cohesive shapes. - **Randomness Emphasis Trend:** The trend in furniture design where random elements are incorporated into the structure to create an eclectic look and showcase unique design points. - **Multi-functional Furniture Trend:** The trend in furniture design where different furniture pieces are combined to provide multiple functions and create a space-saving approach to interior design. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Furniture Design Industry:** Furniture designers can focus on incorporating deconstruction design elements and randomness to create unique pieces for modern buyers. - **Interior Design Industry:** Interior designers can use these deconstructed and random pieces to add eclectic elements to their designs, or incorporate multi-functional pieces for space-saving solutions. - **Home Decor Industry:** Home decor companies can expand their product lines to include deconstructed and random furniture pieces, providing customers with unique design options for their homes. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Candy-Inspired Laminated Artful Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/n90n.md) - [Oblong Color-Blocked Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meritalia-morphologica-collection.md) - [Soft Geometric-Themed Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oru-collection.md) - [Playful Toy-Like Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/frunchroom-furniture-collection.md) - [Interdependency-Inspired Designer Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hilo.md) - [Textured Modern Furniture Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/touch-collections.md) - [Playful Casual Furniture Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/uchronia-wave.md) - [Architecture-Inspired Modular Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dust-order.md) - [Playful Geometric Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collection-co.md)
