The supercharged machine was built for speed using a Military [Boeing](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archer-aviation) turboshaft helicopter engine once belonging to the US Navy. Created to replicate the Batmobile featured in the 1989 Tim Burton film, this badass speed demon also includes an [iPad](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/horizon-yacht-fd90) built in to the dashboard. The fully street- and race-ready vehicle built by Putsch Racing is backed by 365hp and is 20-feet long, making it a definite showstopper at car expos and on the road. The turbine engine-powered Batmobile is a labor of love by Casey Putsch. Putsch grew up admiring the superhero vehicle, and is now pursuing a professional racing career. “I think most every kid liked Batman, and having grown up in the generation that saw the 1989 film as a child, I always loved the Batmobile," explains Putsch. Whether on the racetrack or city streets, the turbine engine-powered Batmobile will surely have superhero fans doing more than just batting an eye. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.6/10 - Popularity: 66% | Activity: 65% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 90% men, 10% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Turbine-engine-powered Vehicles:** The trend of using turbine engines to power vehicles creates new opportunities for high-speed transportation. - **Iconic Film Vehicle Replicas:** The trend of building replicas of iconic film and TV vehicles provides unique opportunities for custom car builders. - **Innovative Vehicle Dashboards:** The trend of integrating technology like iPads into vehicle dashboards allows for new functionality and user experiences. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Custom Car Builders:** Custom car builders can leverage the trend of building replicas of iconic film and TV vehicles to create unique and eye-catching cars for clients. - **High-performance Racing:** The use of turbine engines in racing vehicles creates disruptive innovation opportunities for high-performance racing with faster speeds and streamlined designs. - **Automotive Technology:** The trend of integrating technology like iPads into vehicle dashboards creates new possibilities for innovative in-car experiences and safety features. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Superhero-Themed Hypercar Capsules](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pininfarina.md) - [Electric Superhero Vehicle Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/p64-lancehead.md) - [Sleek Superhero Sports Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pininfarina-b95-gotham.md) - [Modernized Superhero RC Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hot-wheels-rc-original-edition-batmobile.md) - [Superhero-Inspired Water Vessels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/maverick-gt-stormy-knight.md) - [Autonomous Superhero Transportation Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wr322-ugv-batpod.md) - [Stealthy Hero-Inspired Clogs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/batmobile-crocs.md) - [Stealthy Fantasy-Themed Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/f117-4wd-covenant.md) - [Aviation Powered Cars](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beast-by-john-dodd.md)
