# Blooming Music Players This Tulip Speaker is a Cute Way to Listen to Your Favorite Songs By Nicole Ballantyne-Choo | Published 2013-08-28 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tulip-speaker References: [japantrendshop](http://www.japantrendshop.com/onkyo-wstp-tulip-speaker-p-1948.html) The tulip speaker designed by Onkyo is a beautiful way to add music to a room. This vibrant pink flower can be placed on the wall so it doesn't take up room on the floor or on counter space. By hanging it up you'll be able to get more [surround sound](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acoustic-sculpture-speaker) to fill the entire room. The pretty blossom disguises the fact that it's a chunky music player. This ornament can be placed in a living room or kitchen if you like to listen to jams when guests are over or when you're cooking, or simply keep it in your room for your downtime. Since the speaker will be hanging higher up on the wall, the device comes with a remote control so you can easily control the volume and what song is playing. With its [Bluetooth connectivity](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nattbadd) you can also use your smartphone to control the tulip speaker. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 60% | Activity: 23% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 10% men, 90% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Ornamental Audio:** Opportunities for creating aesthetically pleasing audio devices that blend into home decor. - **Wall-mounted Speakers:** Growing trend of speakers designed to be hung on walls for optimal sound distribution and space-saving. - **Remote-controlled Audio:** Increasing demand for audio devices that can be controlled via remote or smartphone for convenience and ease of use. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Consumer Electronics:** Opportunities for expanding product lines with aesthetically pleasing and functional speakers that appeal to home decor enthusiasts. - **Home Decor:** Opportunities for partnering with audio device manufacturers to create home decor-oriented audio products that blend in with interior design. - **Smartphone Accessories:** Opportunities for creating audio control and connectivity solutions for smartphone users who seek convenient ways to control audio devices. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Flower Bud-Inspired Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orris-speaker-concept.md) - [Mood-Setting Speaker Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-bluetooth-speaker-with-light.md) - [Donut-Shaped Wireless Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/orbit-speaker.md) - [Headphone-Holding Speaker Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cornucopia-speaker.md) - [Visually Attractive Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/audio-pro-t3-jepson-edition.md) - [Sleek Visual Bluetooth Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tivoli-audio-boutique.md) - [Retro-Style Tabletop Speaker](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nattbadd-bluetooth.md) - [Spherical Freestanding HiFi Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oeplay-speaker.md) - [Nature-Inspired Multifunctional Speakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/moss-echo.md)
