The [Tsubomi](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tsubomi) house by Flathouse was designed by architect Yoshinori Sakano. From the outside, there doesn't seem to be many windows. The small two-story, [wood frame home](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fukasawa-residence) is quite spacious and luminous inside. The birchwood interior allows the home to make the most of the natural light that streams into the open concept space. **Implications** - After returning home from a busy day, many workers want to enter a space that sets them apart from the millions of other employees around the globe. A house that boasts originality is one way to make a consumer feel special after a long day.
