# Presidential Candidate Parodies These Trump Disney Villains Offer a Comedic View of the Politician By Charlotte Joyce Kidd | Published 2015-09-03 | Pop Culture Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trump-disney References: [huffingtonpost](http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trump-as-disney-villains_55e48d82e4b0aec9f3540028) & [sainthoax](http://www.sainthoax.com/) The Donald Trump campaign is in full swing and while parodies of the presidential candidate's media moments are countless, none is as simple and effective as this series of Donald Trump [Disney](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nailtopia-1) Villain images by pop artist Saint Hoax. The Trump Disney Villain portraits depict the businessman-turned-politician hilariously disguised as Ursula from The Little Mermaid, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland and more. Saint Hoax has titled the series 'The Antagonist.' As [political parodies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fight-teeth) go, these Trump Disney Villains brilliantly succeed at poking some light fun at a presidential candidate in a way that doesn't target his politics or platform. Much as Saturday Night Live sketches point out candidates' individual quirks in a sort of equal-opportunity parody, this art project by Saint Hoax creates a joke that can be enjoyed by all, regardless of political bent. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.8/10 - Popularity: 78% | Activity: 57% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Internet](https://www.trendhunter.com/internet) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Political Parodies:** Creating comedic parodies of political figures for entertainment purposes. - **Artistic Disguises:** Using art to portray political figures in unexpected and humorous ways. - **Equal-opportunity Comedy:** Creating jokes and satirical content that can be enjoyed by people with different political beliefs. ### Who This Affects Most - **Entertainment:** Opportunities for comedians, artists, and filmmakers to create political parodies and satirical content. - **Art:** Artists can explore using their skills to create humorous and unexpected portrayals of political figures. - **Media:** Opportunities for media platforms, such as television shows or websites, to showcase political parodies that appeal to a wide audience. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Villainous Bridal Gowns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/allure-bridals-disney-bridal-gowns.md) - [Villain Inspired Fragrance Lines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-villains-2.md) - [Cartoon Eating Challenges](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hot-ones-episodes.md) - [Cartoon Duck-Inspired Apparel](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-x-karl-lagerfeld.md) - [Villainous Mobile Device Accessories](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-villains-x-casetify.md) - [Dairytale Bridal Tributes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-wedding-dresses-1.md) - [Reimagined Beloved Character Comics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/marvel-and-disney.md) - [Wall-Mounted Animatronic Figures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trumpy-trout.md) - [Halloween-Themed Jewelry Collections](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/disney-halloween-jewelry.md)
