When it comes to ranch dressing, it's hard to improve on a classic. And yet somehow, Trader Joe's has managed to elevate the humble condiment by using one very gourmet ingredient: black truffle. The new Truffle Ranch Dressing is made by a supplier who actually specializes in truffles. This supplier takes a base of creamy, herbaceous ranch dressing and then adds [umami-rich black truffle](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/black-truffle-menu). As Trader Joe's explains, "The result is a complex, deeply savory, pour-it-on-everything dressing that we can’t get enough of." While an obvious choice for salads, pizzas, and French fries, the new Truffle Ranch Dressing also makes the perfect dip for some fresh veggies.
