# Chic Trolley Tables The Wago by Creativeans Provides Practical Portability in Style By Meghan Young | Published 2016-05-02 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trolley-table References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2016/04/29/the-travel-table/) & [creativeans](http://www.creativeans.com/) The idea of a traditional picnic is fine and all, until the blanket crumples, items fall over and ants invade what was supposed to be a fun and even romantic outing. That won't happen with this trolley table. At least, in a clumsy-free reality. Dubbed Wago, the trolley table is a stylish alternative to common [picnic tables and blankets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bentley-home-hyde) to create an even more special experience. Designed by Creativeans, doesn't just provide a surface, it also has a space to store all the items that need to be toted to a picnic -- or whatever other event it is being used at. Keeping up with the picnic theme, however, that means this trolley table does away with the need for a [classic picnic basket](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/worknic) as well. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 46% | Activity: 5% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/furniture) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Practical Picnic Gadgets:** Companies can design and market innovative picnic gear that makes outdoor dining more convenient and stylish, like the Wago trolley table. - **Multi-purpose Outdoor Furniture:** There is potential for furniture designers to create versatile and portable pieces like the Wago trolley table that can be used for a variety of outdoor events. - **Sustainable Outdoor Products:** There is an opportunity for designers to create eco-friendly picnic products that don't harm the environment and are aesthetically pleasing, like the Wago trolley table. ### Who This Affects Most - **Outdoor Recreation:** Outdoor recreation companies can leverage the practicality and style of products like the Wago trolley table to enhance the picnic experience for consumers. - **Furniture Design:** Furniture designers can create versatile and portable pieces like the Wago trolley table that can be used not only for picnics but for other outdoor events. - **Eco-friendly Products:** Product designers can create sustainable outdoor products like the Wago trolley table that appeal to eco-conscious consumers and minimize harm to the environment. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Compact Outdoor Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-1.md) - [Stylish Shopping Trolleys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roulette-carts.md) - [Multifunctional Park Picnic Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/foldable-picnic-furniture.md) - [Contemporary Home Party Trolley](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-diner.md) - [Rolled-Up Wooden Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sofan.md) - [Scooter-Like Portable Desks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portable-work-station.md) - [Capacious Collapsible Carts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/collapsible-cart.md) - [Artful Colorful Bar Carts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jolly-trolley-1.md) - [Collapsible Storage Trolleys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clax-trolley.md)
