# Braided Bulb Fixtures The Triple Shot Hanging Lamp Entwines Industrial and Handmade Design By Amelia Roblin | Published 2012-08-07 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/triple-shot References: [blog.leibal](http://blog.leibal.com/products/lighting/industrial-modern-lighting/) & [etsy](http://www.etsy.com/listing/85782442/triple-shot-woven-3-globe-hanging-lamp) Even lovers of more traditional design may be drawn to the Triple Shot hanging lamp. It has a definite industrial look about it, yet its elements have a simplicity, a clarity, a softness and the detail to complement minimal as well as elaborate interiors. The big and beautiful 5-inch lightbulbs are perfectly spherical and elegantly transparent. Their delicate filaments are easily visible and the globes sit securely within [cylindrical metal fixtures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pell-chandelier). Tony Oliver of Dylan Design Co. makes the Triple Shot in two main models. One features a cord-woven cluster of three light globes and the other separates the trio by 10 inches each on a [wooden frame](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/light-bean). ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.7/10 - Popularity: 27% | Activity: 15% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Industrial Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the integration of industrial and handmade design elements to create unique and visually appealing products. - **Minimalist Interiors:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop lighting fixtures that have a simplicity and clarity to complement minimalistic interior designs. - **Adaptable Lighting:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create pendant lamps with adjustable features, such as extension cords, to cater to different space requirements. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Decor:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Combine industrial and handmade design concepts to offer innovative lighting solutions for home decor. - **Lighting Fixtures:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Design spherical, transparent lightbulbs with visible filaments to create visually appealing and unique lighting fixtures. - **Interior Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborate with furniture manufacturers to incorporate wooden frames in pendant lamps for a blend of industrial and natural elements. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Glassmaking Tubular Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flare-light.md) - [Monkey Knot-Integrated Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/small-knot-pendant-lamp.md) - [Mouth-Blown Glass Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grid-pendant-light.md) - [Fishnet-Made Pendant Lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/philips-mycreation-droplet-lamp.md) - [Exquisite Textured Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pendant-lamp1.md) - [Metal Thread Pendant Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nest-lamp.md) - [Sculptural Wooden Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-lamp.md) - [Horizontal Glass Sphere Lighting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/comet-pendant.md) - [Minimal Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/takeout-lamp.md)
