During Halloween, kids get to dress up and go house-to-house to collect tons of candy. Parents accompany the kids and, when their children are older, sometimes stay at home handing out candy to other trick-or-treaters. Trick or Tracker, an app built by Iconosys, is an easy way for parents to track their children while they are out trick or treating. Trick or Tracker can be installed both on parents and the child's phones. The child's phone will display a special 'Where am I?' button and the parent's phone will show a special 'Where's my child?' button. This app will enable parents to receive messages about the whereabouts of their child at a programmed interval. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.1/10 - Popularity: 5% | Activity: 20% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Tech](https://www.trendhunter.com/tech) > [Mobile](https://www.trendhunter.com/mobile) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Child Locator Apps:** Developing child locator applications for various events and locations - **Parental Monitoring Technology:** Integrating parental monitoring technology into family-oriented applications - **Personal Safety Apps:** Creating personal safety apps that integrate GPS tracking features ### Sectors Adopting This - **Family-oriented Applications:** Building family-oriented applications with added security features to alleviate parents’ concerns - **Mobile Security Providers:** Partnering with mobile security providers to integrate GPS tracking features into existing applications - **Event Planning Services:** Developing event planning services with child locator integration to improve the experience for families ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Missing Child App Alerts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/Findmykids-App.md) - [Discreet Tracking Shoes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/find-my-skechers.md) - [Tracker-Friendly Kids Sneakers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/skechers-kids-find-my-skechers.md) - [Proactive Tracker Detection Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/detection-app.md) - [Kid-Inspired Safety Gadgets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smartwatch-phone-for-kids.md) - [Proactive School Bus-Tracking Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/school-bustracking.md) - [Halloween Safety Programs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glow-guards.md) - [Privacy-Protecting Mobile Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/do-not-track-kids.md) - [Tracker-Detecting Smartphone Updates](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/google-find-my-device-network.md)
