Created by 'Yuue Design,' the brand decided to have some fun in the process of developing its newest lighting pieces. The resulting trick lamps are meant to evoke the same feeling in guests as when they accidentally break something in a home which is not theirs. When the lamp string is pulled down, the bulb comes with it and turns on -- giving the unaware person a momentary feeling that they broke it. The lamps come in two different forms, one of which comes in a cone shape and the other a rectangular one. These trick lamps function as sophisticated decor while equipped with the ability to prank guests. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.8/10 - Popularity: 75% | Activity: 62% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Home](https://www.trendhunter.com/home) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Trick Decor:** Decorative items that incorporate playful and deceptive elements to add a sense of fun and surprise. - **Interactive Lighting:** Light fixtures that engage the user in a playful or dynamic way to create an immersive experience. - **Smart Pranks:** Integrating technology with practical jokes to create a more sophisticated and unexpected trick. ### Who This Affects Most - **Home Decor:** Creating playful and interactive decor pieces that enhance the overall aesthetic of the home. - **Lighting Design:** Incorporating playful elements in lighting design to enhance user experience. - **Gadget Gifts:** Designing practical jokes disguised as technology gadgets as a form of gift or entertainment market. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Task-Managing Dynamic Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fall-lamp-concept.md) - [Compact Elaborate LED Smart-Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cup-lamp.md) - [Traditional Tower-Inspired Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-pagoda-lamp.md) - [Interactive Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tangent-lamp.md) - [Artistic Magnetic Lamp Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scacco-matto-lamp.md) - [Interactive Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tap-tap-table-lamp.md) - [Reversible Glass Table Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jal.md) - [Inflatable Mood Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blow-lamp.md) - [3D-Printed Reversed Lamps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/revolve-lamp.md)
