# Handgun Conversion Kits The TRIARII from Hera Arms Turns Pistols into Long Range Rifles By Michael Hines | Published 2010-11-11 | Unique Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/triarii-from-hera-arms References: [dvice](http://dvice.com/archives/2010/11/weaponry-hack-k.php) & [guns.mt](http://www.guns.com.mt/products.php/TRIARII) I'd rather make love instead of war, but that doesn't mean that I don't find the TRIARII from Hera Arms insanely cool. This [conversion kit](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pickup-camper-kit) instantly turns your pistol into a [long-range rifle](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/laser-rangefinders). The TRIARII from Hera Arms has a reported four-second conversion time and is designed for sportsmen and [law enforcement agencies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/caldwell-clays-app). I'm no gun expert, but the TRIARII seems a little impractical due to its size and the fact that you are still shooting a pistol bullet. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.9/10 - Popularity: 72% | Activity: 96% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Handgun Conversion Kits:** Turning pistols into long-range rifles with conversion kits like the TRIARII from Hera Arms presents an opportunity for disruptive innovation in firearms technology. - **Quick-conversion Firearms:** Developing firearms with faster and more efficient conversion times creates a growth opportunity in the firearms industry. - **Multifunctional Weaponry:** Creating multifunctional weapons like the TRIARII from Hera Arms presents an opportunity for innovation in the defense and security industries. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Firearms:** The firearms industry can develop handgun conversion kits like the TRIARII from Hera Arms to capitalize on growth opportunities. - **Defense:** Multifunctional weapons like the TRIARII could be developed and marketed to defense agencies as an innovative new offering. - **Security:** For the security industry, multifunctional weapons like the TRIARII from Hera Arms present an opportunity for new innovation and product development. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Range-Roving Sniper Scopes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sniper-scope.md) - [Wooden Military Replica Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/m142-himars.md) - [Triple-Mode Powered Water Blasters](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spyrathree.md) - [E-Trike Boat Hybrids](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ztriton-20.md) - [Gel Pellet Toy Guns](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hasbro-1.md) - [Compact Campervan Conversion Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/campervan-conversion-kit.md) - [Multi-Position Smartphone Controllers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/telegun-smartphone-controller.md) - [Monstrous Motorcycle Customization Kits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/agsys-kit.md) - [Digital At-Home Archery Games](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/home-archery-game.md)
