# Modern Trefoil-Shaped Houses Eldridge London Creates a Dramatically Shaped House in Coombre Park By Kalin Ned | Published 2020-04-06 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trefoilshaped-house References: [dezeen](https://www.dezeen.com/2020/04/06/house-in-coombe-park-kingston-eldridge-london/) & [eldridgelondon](http://eldridgelondon.com) Architectural studio Eldridge London has created an interesting trefoil-shaped house in southwest London and the shape entails that "almost every section of wall is curved." This creates a fluid and dynamic aesthetic for the structure. Eldridge London used a variety of luxe materials for the construction of the contemporary trefoil-shaped house, including "a [bronze-toned cladding system](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fractal-facade-house) made from lengths of profiled aluminum," as well as marble, brass, concrete, and white marble. The eye-catching trefoil-shaped house extends to a total of three floors, with a fully glazed floor-to-ceiling facade that strikes a good balance between interior and exterior. The space is functional as a family home, but also has a dramatic flair--especially when one looks to the [concealed spiral staircase](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cobalt-coach-house) which is the only route to the master bedroom.
