Designed for the AIM Legend of Tent competition, it is a concept that has been dubbed 'one with the birds.' Keeping its surroundings as well as the wildlife in mind, the Beijing-based architecture and design collective created a low-impact design that not only respects the environment, but also encourages its guests to connect with nature in a more meaningful way. Inspired by the [Native American tipi](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/teepee-pavilion), the treehouse hotel is re-usable and adaptable while leaving no permanent damage when it is moved. The nomadic structure is made out of [bamboo sticks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bamboo-cabin) tied together with rope that can be easily dismantled to be brought to another site. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.3/10 - Popularity: 65% | Activity: 57% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [World](https://www.trendhunter.com/world) > [Travel](https://www.trendhunter.com/travel) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Eco-friendly Architecture:** Opportunity for sustainable and low-impact designs in the hospitality industry. - **Nature-centric Experiences:** Creating unique hotel experiences that encourage guests to connect with nature and the environment. - **Nomadic Structures:** Designing flexible and easily movable structures for various locations and purposes in the tourism sector. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Hospitality:** Exploring new design concepts that prioritize sustainability and environmental consciousness. - **Tourism:** Incorporating innovative and eco-friendly structures to enhance visitor experiences and reduce environmental impact. - **Architecture and Design:** Finding creative ways to build structures that are adaptable, reusable, and leave minimal permanent damage. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Nature-Immersive Tranquil Resorts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/treehouse-villas.md) - [Elevated Treetop Modern Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buitenverblijf-nest.md) - [Rainforest Lodged Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-lodging-in-the-pige.md) - [Artful Elevated Timber Treehouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/secret-camp.md) - [Cartoonish Tubular Treehouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tubular-treehouse.md) - [Hidden Garden Timber Pavilions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/a-room-around-a-tree.md) - [Modern Rounded Treehouse Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/burl-treehouse.md) - [Forest Bamboo Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bamboo-cabin.md) - [Bamboo Forest Structures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/amazon-rainforest-pavilion.md)
