# Beautiful Arboreal Tables The Contemporary Treeangle Table is a Reference to the Forest Canopy By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-11-19 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/treeangle-table References: [yankodesign](http://www.yankodesign.com/2013/11/15/part-table-part-planter/) & [annastrupinskaya](http://www.annastrupinskaya.com/) Items with designs based on organic objects are naturally appealing to the eyes. The Treeangle Table takes formal inspiration from [arboreal shapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceiba-series) to bring life into a modern space. Anna Strupinkskaya has created a stunning [stone base](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ancora) that begins broadly and narrows as it rises. Like a tree trunk, it begins to split into two branches, before a [flat wooden surface](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/barricane-tables) cuts across them. This dark timber panel can be visually interpreted as a leafy canopy of this side table. The enchanting set comes with a vase that can be placed on top of the Treeangle Table, giving the illusion that it is a continuation of the bough beneath. Filling this jar with flowers and other plant life greatly enhances the natural impression. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.9/10 - Popularity: 16% | Activity: 4% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Organic-inspired Designs:** There is an opportunity for businesses to create products or furniture that take inspiration from natural shapes and forms. - **Integration of Nature:** Companies can explore ways to incorporate elements of nature, such as trees or plants, into their designs to bring a sense of life and beauty into modern spaces. - **Illusion of Continuation:** Creating products that give the illusion of a seamless connection or continuation from one element to another can add a touch of enchantment and visual interest to the design. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Design:** The furniture industry can explore innovative ways to incorporate organic-inspired designs and integrate elements of nature into their products. - **Interior Design:** Interior designers can leverage organic-inspired designs to create visually appealing and nature-centric spaces. - **Home Decor:** Home decor companies can offer products that give the illusion of continuation, allowing customers to add enchanting touches to their living spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sophisticated Table Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/monumental-table.md) - [Raw Stone-Inspired Jagged Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fels-coffee-table.md) - [Chic Sustainable Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/oceanides-table-collection.md) - [Slender Geometric Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tong-side-table.md) - [Puzzling Geometric Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/linked-side-table.md) - [Artistic Juxtaposed Side Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/koroi-side-table.md) - [Organic Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/roots-collection-1.md) - [Geometrically Informed Outdoor Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/outdoor-table1.md) - [Herringbone-Inspired Wooden Tables](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/herringbone-table.md)
