She is based in Tel Aviv, and has designed these rocking horses from [tree trunks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ceiba-series), leaving natural characteristics of the circular bole of the tree intact. Shamia has a gift for making a simple design look elegant and beautiful. Some of her other popular creations include a bumper car design used to help children recognize how to [mix colors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pelata-collection). Each horse is distinct with its own ring pattern, and unless you have your own chainsaw, this is not a toy you can make on your own. This rocking horse adds a unique twist to your standard children's toy, and is a great addition to any play pen. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 21% | Activity: 32% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Minimalist Tree Trunk Toys:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Exploring new materials and designs for children's toys by incorporating natural elements like tree trunks. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Children's Toy Industry:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporating unconventional materials and designs into traditional children's toys to create unique and eco-friendly products. - **Furniture Industry:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Utilizing natural materials like tree trunks in furniture design to create minimalist and sustainable pieces. - **Education Industry:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Using unconventional teaching aids, such as the tree trunk rocking horse, to engage children in interactive and sensory learning experiences. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Dynamic Movement Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wobbl-rocking-chair.md) - [Horse-Inspired Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-falabella-stool.md) - [Wooden Lounge Rocking Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nice-chair.md) - [Nature-Inspired Indoor Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sarit-shani-hay.md) - [Modernized Rocking Chair Furniture](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nodding-chair.md) - [Whimsical Childlike Furniture Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-eternal-child.md) - [Functional Decorative Rocking Stools](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rool-stool.md) - [Toy Block-Inspired Wooden Bookshelves](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/rotating-picture-book.md) - [Fabric-Wrapped Rocking Chairs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/zhe-rocking-chair.md)
