Sculptor Joseph Wheelwright's installation at Fruitlands Museum in Harvard, MA will be uprooted in November 2010.

Using trees from his home in Vermont, Wheelwright's [tree sculptures](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wooden-sculptures-1) stand up to 30 feet tall. Twisted limbs and branches give a Tolkien-like appearance to his works. Check out the gallery above to see his art and let your imagination fly.

**Implications** - Museums are a great way for artists to display works that have the ability to change the way people think about things. The featured exhibit is a good example of using art as a way to express the beauty of nature and gives people a reason to want to preserve it. With deforestation and global warming, people need to realize that everything they do impacts the world.
