A conceptual design by Aibet Almasov, who hopes to one day use the transparent, cylindrical tower as an abstract, [meditative abode](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sadowski-house), the house enshrines a tree through the middle of the structure. A winding staircase encircles the tree, with each floor's design positioned around the tree. The country home is intended to eradicate the visual and physical barriers constructed between the natural and manufactured, while offering a labyrinth of peace and solace for the overworked urban mind. The 'Tree in the House' attempts to provide an [isolated garden path](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/more-cabin) outside of the scattered citified environment, where temporary residents can recuperate themselves physically, creatively and spiritually. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.8/10 - Popularity: 98% | Activity: 97% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) > [Eco Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/ecoarchitecture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Transparent Architecture:** Glass-encased tree houses demonstrate the trend of transparent architecture, providing a disruptive innovation opportunity for designing structures that blend seamlessly with the natural environment. - **Nature Integration:** The 'Tree in the House' concept reflects the trend of integrating nature into built environments, opening up opportunities for industries to create eco-friendly and sustainable structures that contribute to the well-being of occupants. - **Urban Retreats:** The concept of the 'Tree in the House' highlights the trend of creating urban retreats, presenting an opportunity for industries to develop innovative spaces that offer tranquility and respite from busy city life. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Architecture and Design:** The glass-encased tree house trend presents disruptive innovation opportunities for architects and designers to create unique and sustainable structures that blend with the natural surroundings. - **Eco-tourism:** The 'Tree in the House' concept opens up possibilities for the eco-tourism industry to create immersive and sustainable accommodations in natural settings, offering visitors a transformative experience. - **Wellness and Mindfulness:** The idea of urban retreats like the 'Tree in the House' provides a niche market for the wellness and mindfulness industry to develop products and services that cater to individuals seeking relaxation and rejuvenation in nature-focused environments. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Tree-Surrounding Mass-Timber Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tree-courtyard-house.md) - [Apple Tree-Surrounding Glass Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acdf.md) - [Contemporary Conservationist Treehouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sylvascope-treehouse.md) - [Trapezoidal Concrete Forest Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ksa-studen.md) - [Solar Powered Luxe Treehouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-baltic.md) - [Repurposed Wooden Shoreside Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tree-house-by-the-lake.md) - [Cartoonish Tubular Treehouses](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tubular-treehouse.md) - [Forested Residential Buildings](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-bath.md) - [Tranquil A‑Frame Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/steel-a-frame.md)
