Hurray for more [green fashion and recycled wearable art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/recycled-metal-jewellery-reformation-x-clair-waight-keller-create-a-limited), this time from London-based WalterWorks. These pieces are from Belgium-born Walter Raes.

I am particularly fond of these designs as it is really easy to identify what they are made from, be it [mops, rubber gloves or cassette tapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/done-dusted). This aspect of simple identification does take away from the practical wearability of the items, however. I am not sure that I would be massively into going out covered in scrubbers!

**Implications** - WalterWorks proves once again that one man's trash is another man's treasure. The designer believes that the [trash thrown away around the world](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trashy) is offensively criminal, and it is from these throw-aways that he crafts his design.
