Yup that's right, Portuguese Architect Jose Pequeno has invented a sustainable building which can be assembled and taken down and transported just as easy. The 'Transportable Tourist Tower' or the 'TTT' takes up only 10 square meters to be completely assembled. And for such a [small and compact space](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hirondelle-tiny-house), the tower contains a lot of amenities; from a bathroom, to a kitchen and dining area, study, bedroom, a living room and a rooftop deck. The nifty design is made from [100% renewable materials](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/e55000) and can be built using any type of wood you prefer. This is an interesting invention for those who want to reduce their carbon footprint when traveling. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.1/10 - Popularity: 64% | Activity: 52% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Sustainable Tourism:** The transportable hotel presents an opportunity for the tourism industry to offer sustainable accommodations for travelers. - **Compact Living:** The design of the transportable tourist tower highlights the rising trend of compact living and minimalist lifestyles. - **Modular Construction:** The invention of the transportable hotel showcases the potential for modular construction methods in the architecture and construction industry. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Hospitality:** The hospitality industry can explore the disruptive innovation of transportable hotels to offer unique and eco-friendly accommodation options. - **Real Estate:** The real estate industry can tap into the demand for compact living by incorporating modular construction and transportable housing solutions. - **Tourism:** The tourism industry can benefit from sustainable tourism practices by promoting and supporting the use of transportable hotels for eco-conscious travelers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Portable Wooden Mobile Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mo5-450.md) - [Mobile Otherworldly Hotel Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tesla-mobile-resort-hotel.md) - [Compact Sustainable Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cabana.md) - [Pre-Fabricated Compact Portable Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grande-s1.md) - [Japanese-Inspired Portable Tiny Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bonzai.md) - [Terrace-Joined Cozy Tiny Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/terra-m1tiny-house-on-wheels.md) - [Prefab Timber Pods](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-nests-treepod-project.md) - [Portable Wheel-Based Green Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tiny-house-of-wheels.md) - [Collapsible Space-Saving Suitcases](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jollying-pebble-suitcase.md)
