The Transport Hornet is an [air-powered tricycle](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/meet-one-trike-tour) (which looks more like a motorcycle) designed to deliver the goods in big cities. The Transport Hornet runs off of tanks of compressed air and it has a unique [storage bay that can be detached](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-mobility-system) and pulled just like a piece of carry-on luggage. I believe a design like this could really give the [bicycle delivery services](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-cargo-bike-design) of the world a run for their money. The Transport Hornet can carry more than a tradition bicycle delivery man and is as eco-friendly as it releases no emissions into the atmosphere. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.4/10 - Popularity: 73% | Activity: 51% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Air-powered Delivery Trikes:** Opportunity for disruptive innovation in the last-mile delivery sector through the use of air-powered tricycles. - **Motorcycle Delivery Services:** Potential disruption in the North American market as motorcycle delivery services gain popularity. - **Eco-friendly Transportation:** Increasing demand for eco-friendly delivery options presents an opportunity for disruptive innovation in the transportation industry. ### Who This Affects Most - **Last-mile Delivery:** Air-powered tricycles can revolutionize the last-mile delivery industry by offering a clean and efficient alternative to traditional methods. - **Transportation:** The rise of air-powered tricycles in delivery services can disrupt the transportation industry by promoting eco-friendly transportation solutions. - **Bicycle Delivery Services:** Air-powered tricycles pose a disruptive innovation opportunity for bicycle delivery services by providing higher capacity and efficient delivery options. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Food Delivery eBike Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dvil-electric-bike-concept.md) - [Compact Delivery Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/2022-deliverator.md) - [Last-Mile Transportation Solutions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/fastport-equad.md) - [Cargo-Carrying Electric Rickshaws](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-rickshaws.md) - [Pedal-Assisted Cargo eBikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lambrogio.md) - [Compact Last-Mile Delivery Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cargo-bike-concept.md) - [Transforming Electric Motorcycle Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/triso-electric-motorcycle.md) - [Compact Urban Delivery Vehicles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tris-ev.md) - [Expandable Electric Cargo Trikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-folding-cargo-bike.md)
