Designers David Hotard, Edwin Collier and Matthew Campbell strove to develop a speedy two-wheeler that accommodates bags, and not the other way around. Ditch your [scrappy backpack](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/matrix-backpack) and bring that [dapper leather computer bag](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/apex-briefcase), because it's no extra effort or stress. The front wheel of this ultra-modern conveyance has been opened up and hollowed out to provide a generous storage pouch. The atypical trunk does not require bungee cords like a back rack would, and the Transport Commuter Bike remains streamlined and slick with your personal items safely stowed inside of it. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 6.2/10 - Popularity: 93% | Activity: 85% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Autos](https://www.trendhunter.com/autos) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Wheel-embedded Bike Baskets:** Opportunity for bike manufacturers to integrate wheel-embedded storage solutions, providing convenience and style for commuters. - **Personalized Commuter Bikes:** Potential for customizable commuter bikes that prioritize accommodating different bag sizes and styles, adding a personal touch to the cycling experience. - **Streamlined Bike Storage Solutions:** Demand for innovative storage designs that enhance the sleek aesthetics of bikes, allowing riders to securely store their personal items while maintaining a stylish look. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Bicycle Manufacturing:** Opportunity for bicycle manufacturers to incorporate wheel-embedded storage solutions into their product lines, attracting commuters seeking convenience and functionality. - **Fashion:** Fashion brands can explore collaborations or product extensions that cater to the growing market of commuters in need of stylish bags designed for wheel-embedded bike storage. - **Urban Mobility:** Innovative bike storage solutions like wheel-embedded baskets present opportunities for urban mobility service providers to offer enhanced commuting options for city dwellers. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Workstation-Equipped Electric Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/buck-bike.md) - [Tire-Carrying Backpack Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bike-backpack.md) - [Modular Cargo-Ready Bike Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cargorida.md) - [Collapsible Belt-Driven Commuter Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/priority-folder.md) - [Consummately Customizable Commuter Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/customizable-commuter-bike.md) - [Minimalist Commuter E-Bikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pendler-1.md) - [Wheel-Wedging Folding Bicycles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wheel-wedging-folding-bicycle.md) - [Tubular Metallic Bike Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cargomate-bike-rack.md) - [Expandable Electric Cargo Trikes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/electric-folding-cargo-bike.md)
