The quaint and simple house is great at becoming one with nature during the day, as it blends well with the snow. During the night time however, it comes alive with bright lights that softly glow through as a result of the fireplace. Inspired by indigenous people, this house is created to efficiently create and retain heat through the use of a fireplace. The house is constructed with [layers of insulation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drop-pod) and fabrics made from recycled plastic bottles. The translucent home carries the philosophy of becoming one with nature. It achieves this by relying on sunlight to light the house, so one is forced to wake with the sun. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.5/10 - Popularity: 60% | Activity: 67% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) > [Eco Architecture](https://www.trendhunter.com/ecoarchitecture) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Translucent Architecture:** Opportunity for architects to explore the usage of semi-transparent textiles and layers to create immersive experiences for homeowners. - **Sustainable Housing:** A chance for home builders and designers to incorporate recycled materials, layers of insulation, and eco-friendly practices to build sustainable homes that are both energy-efficient and visually appealing. - **Natural Lighting-based Home Design:** Designers and architects can focus on integrating natural light to create serene and health-boosting home environments, which are aligned with a 'wake with the sun' philosophy. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Home Building:** Companies in the home building sector could develop a range of sustainable, eco-friendly homes that are energy-efficient and visually pleasing. - **Architecture and Design:** The architecture and design industry could focus on developing immersive, translucent structures with semi-transparent textiles for lighting and insulation solutions. - **Green Technology:** Developers of eco-friendly technology can create climate control systems with low emissions that are effective in heating and insulating homes while also maintaining energy efficiency. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Transparent Teardrop-Shaped Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/yuko-nagayama-associates.md) - [Transparent Birchwood Nature Cabins](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/immerso-glamping-cabin.md) - [All-Glass Mesmerizing Compact Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/beaufort-bushland-retreat.md) - [Shape‑shifting Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/modular-offgrid-house.md) - [Inflatable House-Shaped Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/air-architecture-inflatable-tent.md) - [Experimental Shelter Tents](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grayhus.md) - [Tranquil Nature-Centric Cabin Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nortehaus.md) - [Nature-Shared A-Frame Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/kumiki-architects.md) - [Environmentally Blending Residences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ineffable-light.md)
