[Yamaha's](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/travel-guitar-1) brand new TransAcoustic range of guitars are designed to make it easier than ever for [fingerstyle guitar players](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/acoustic-guitar-models) to infuse some extra energy and vitality into their performances. These guitars make use of technology originally designed for acoustic pianos.

The LL-TA and LS-TA guitars that form the TransAcoustic range feature a special actuator that happens to be situated on the inner surface of the guitar's rear. When the strings are plucked, the actuator vibrates, with vibrations shepherded by the body, resulting in [natural reverb and chorus sounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stratus).

One of the problems with playing acoustic guitar in certain settings such as bedrooms for example is that the tones can sound rather weak and lifeless, but this will no longer be a problem thanks to the TransAcoustic guitars.
