The effect of this unique concept is a visual stunner. If the beach is more to your interest, the Banyan Tree Al Wadi also has you covered. You can take a 20-minute chauffeured run over to a ship which sails guests over to their own beachfront pool villa. Each villa is lavished with a secluded terrace, plunge pool and sun-sheltering bower. This man-made ocean is nestled in a place where sun-worshipers may spend a day viewing serene desert evergreens and desert dunes. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.4/10 - Popularity: 6% | Activity: 88% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Eco](https://www.trendhunter.com/eco) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Desert Eco Enclaves:** Opportunity to create luxurious and environmentally-friendly resorts in desert locations. - **Crystal Clear Infinity Pools:** Innovative pool designs that offer a visually stunning experience for resort guests. - **Ship-to-beach Experiences:** Offering unique transportation experiences to guests, such as sailing them from the resort to their own beachfront villa. ### Who This Affects Most - **Hospitality:** Hotels and resorts can adopt eco-friendly practices and design stunning pool experiences for their guests. - **Tourism:** Tour operators can create unique and luxurious desert eco enclaves for travelers looking for a one-of-a-kind experience. - **Transportation:** Transportation companies can offer unique transportation services, such as sailing guests to beachfront villas. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Bedouin Tent-Inspired Resorts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/aw2.md) - [Ancient Oasis Desert Hotels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/habitas-alula-desert-hotel.md) - [Luxurious Resort Getaways](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/address-beach-resort.md) - [Private Wellbeing Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/banyan-tree-connections.md) - [Whimsical Tranquil Holiday Hotels](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/two-bunch-palms.md) - [Nature-Immersive Tranquil Resorts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/treehouse-villas.md) - [Ultra-Luxe Overwater Resorts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-private-reserve.md) - [Connection-Focused Travel Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/banyan-tree.md) - [Tranquil Suspended Hanging Retreats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/ardh-architect.md)
