Along with the markings, which are meant for on-site skill testing, the space features [classrooms and storage slots](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/learning-house). Located in one of the cities largest parks, the Traffic House features folding panels -- in black timber or steel -- that allow it to open during the day and close at night. The panels scale back to expose orange walls, a choice which was by no means accidental: the orange is the same hue as a traffic cone and the galvanized steel panels are meant to simulate traffic reflectors. The black panels were chosen to represent asphalt.
