# Chic Linear Showerheads The TradeWinds Cascade Shower Takes On a Sleek Simplicity By Amelia Roblin | Published 2011-11-09 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tradewinds-cascade-shower References: [trendir](http://www.trendir.com/archives/005853.html) & [trade-winds.be](http://www.trade-winds.be/product.php?id=33&la=en) The lovely landscape of your backyard does not demand competition from the artificial fixtures you install around your pool deck. The TradeWinds Cascade Shower exudes a quiet respect for the complex beauty of its natural surroundings through a rigid form that is minimal and industrial. There are two principal components to the structure of this outdoor washer which include a slatted wooden plinth and a stark metal shaft and shower head. The latter two are manufactured of burnished galvanized steel poles that fit precisely together at a 90-degree angle. Unless the TradeWinds Cascade Shower is on, you might not be able to guess where the water trickles out. In a cool contemporary way it actually dispenses warm H20 along a straight series of holes to soak the user much like a suspended sprinkler. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 46% | Activity: 36% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Minimalist Outdoor Fixtures:** Companies can explore designing sleek and minimal outdoor fixtures that blend seamlessly with natural surroundings. - **Industrial Design Aesthetics:** There is an opportunity to create industrial-style designs for outdoor fixtures that exude a modern, minimalistic look. - **Contemporary Water Dispensing:** Innovation can focus on developing unique ways to dispense water, such as straight series of holes, for a more contemporary showering experience. ### Who This Affects Most - **Outdoor Furniture and Decor:** The outdoor furniture and decor industry can explore incorporating minimalist and industrial design aesthetics into their products for a unique and stylish appeal. - **Plumbing and Bath Fixtures:** Plumbing and bath fixture manufacturers can consider developing innovative showerhead designs that offer contemporary water dispensing methods for a more enjoyable bathing experience. - **Landscape Architecture:** Landscape architects can collaborate with manufacturers to create outdoor fixtures that seamlessly blend with the surrounding natural environment, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal of outdoor spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Sharp Ultra-Slender Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/antoniolupi-tubo.md) - [Nature-Inspired Artful Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-bathing-collection.md) - [Modern Square-Shaped Showerhead Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/showerhead-designs.md) - [Demure Hand Shower Faucets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bell-jar-shower-head.md) - [Hygiene-Focused Shower Head Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/showerclear.md) - [Frost-Proof Chic Faucet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/scandinavian-design-principles1.md) - [Two-in-One Spa-Like Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/delta-faucet-hydrorain.md) - [Ice-Filled Shower Heads](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glacial-shower-shower-head.md) - [Fully Integrated Smart Showers](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/power-shower-head.md)
