The experience offered a unique way for people to experience their own vital signs by standing in front of a [large-scale projection](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/interactive-augmented-reality-mural). By standing in place, a computer turned data from one's vital signs into an artful digital display that appeared brighter with each breath taken. With other tools to [measure one's heart rate](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/faceheart-cardiomirror) and skin glands, the installation also shifted to offer different rhythms and colors. The launch of this [biometric-tracking art installation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/your-psychoacoustic-light-ensemble) in New York City coincided with the launch of the company's new website and naturally encouraged consumers to ponder the supplements they could be taking for better health. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 67% | Activity: 71% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Live Arts](https://www.trendhunter.com/livearts) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Biometric-tracking Installations:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop advanced biometric-tracking installations for immersive experiences in art, wellness, and entertainment. - **Artful Digital Displays:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create interactive digital displays that transform personal data, such as vital signs, into visually engaging and thought-provoking experiences. - **Integration of Technology and Wellness:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Explore the integration of biometric-tracking technology into the wellness industry to enhance self-awareness, personal growth, and health optimization. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Health Supplements:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop biometric-tracking solutions as complementary tools to health supplements, enabling individuals to track and optimize their wellness journeys. - **Art Installations:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Combine biometric-tracking technology with art installations to create interactive and immersive experiences that bridge the gap between science and art. - **Digital Marketing and Advertising:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Utilize biometric-tracking installations for advertising campaigns, leveraging real-time data and personalized experiences to capture consumer attention and engagement. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Data-Driven Digital Experiences](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/data-driven-digital-experience.md) - [Health-Monitoring Mirrors](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/nuralogix-longevity-mirror.md) - [Hydration-Focused Pop-Ups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/just-add-water.md) - [Biomaterial Color-Changing Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sensibiom-2.md) - [Biometric Health Lightbulbs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/healthmonitoring-smart-bulb.md) - [Light-Based Wellness Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/resonance-lamp.md) - [Biometric-Based Nutrition Apps](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pnoe.md) - [Health-Tracking Key Fobs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portal-vital-monitor.md) - [Nature-Reconnecting Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/highwood-installation.md)
