When I was a kid, my floor was littered with [toy dinosaurs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dino-adventure-pack). But I never had a literal toy dinosaur like the one Hiroshi Fuji made. Hiroshi Fuji is a Japanese artist who has a thing for dinosaurs and a ton of patience. I can't imagine how much time it took to put together a dinosaur only using [children's toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hape-x-the-met). If you want to see Toysaurus by Hiroshi Fuji you'll have to travel to, you guessed it, [Tokyo](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toyota-city-museum). This kickass sculpture could be worth the airfare though. If not, you can always drift. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 1.9/10 - Popularity: 15% | Activity: 34% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Life-Stages](https://www.trendhunter.com/life-stages) > [Youth](https://www.trendhunter.com/youth) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Toy Dinosaur Sculptures:** The trend of creating intricate and realistic sculptures using children's toys creates opportunities for artists to showcase their creativity and craftsmanship. - **Artistic Repurposing of Toys:** The trend of repurposing children's toys as materials for art pieces opens up new possibilities for upcycling and sustainability in the art world. - **Nostalgic Toy Art:** The trend of using familiar childhood toys as subjects for artistic creations taps into nostalgia and evokes a sense of sentimentality in viewers. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Art Galleries:** Art galleries can capitalize on the trend of toy dinosaur sculptures by hosting exhibitions featuring these unique and visually striking creations. - **Toy Manufacturing:** Toy manufacturers can explore the opportunity to collaborate with artists and create limited edition toy dinosaur sculptures, appealing to collectors and toy enthusiasts. - **Sculpture Supplies:** Suppliers of art materials can target artists working with repurposed toys by offering specialized tools and products to assist in creating intricate sculptures. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Superhero-Themed Dinosaur Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/web-chompin-spider-rex.md) - [Dinosaur Fossil Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-dinosaur-fossils-trex-skull.md) - [Interactive Hatching Dinosaur Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dinosaur-toys.md) - [Transforming Crossover Dinosaur Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/transformers-x-jurassic-park.md) - [Collectible Dinosaur Desk Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/chrome-dino.md) - [Digital Dinosaur Toys](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bitzee-jurassic-world.md) - [Dinosaur-Themed Puzzle Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dinosaur-fossils-triceratops-skull.md) - [Reversible Dinosaur Plushies](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/glow-in-the-dark-dinosaur-plushies.md) - [Dinosaur Convention Sets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/convention-crasher.md)
