The first and third levels of the townhouse have concrete flaps that can be used as slides to get from one level to another. The two bedrooms above the ground floor feature wooden flaps that can be raised and lowered in order to connect the rooms with a platform that holds a piano and a netted play area. All the open space, combined with skylights and large windows, allow a ton of natural light into this living space. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.0/10 - Popularity: 42% | Activity: 9% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Alpha, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Playful Architecture:** Designing buildings with playful and interactive features, such as doors that open like drawbridges, floors that function as slides, and nets that create play areas. - **Integration of Play and Living Spaces:** Creating homes that seamlessly incorporate play areas into the living space, utilizing features like nets and slides. - **Maximizing Natural Light:** Designing buildings with open spaces, skylights, and large windows to allow maximum natural light to enter the living space. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Architecture and Design:** Architects can explore new ways to incorporate playful and interactive elements into building designs. - **Real Estate Development:** Real estate developers can consider integrating play areas into residential spaces to cater to families and create unique selling points. - **Interior Design and Furnishing:** Interior designers can focus on maximizing natural light in living spaces through thoughtful placement of windows and skylights. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Playful-Focused Polish Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/znamy-si.md) - [Abstract Colorfully Vibrant Playscapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wired-scape.md) - [Pale Yellow Minimal Townhomes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/vvv-townhouse.md) - [Nature-Inspired Indoor Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sarit-shani-hay.md) - [Structural Energetic Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/archipelago-playscape.md) - [Bright Family Renovation](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/cobble-hill-townhouse.md) - [Duplex-Appearing Home Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/duplex-house.md) - [Elevated Leisure Habitats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/elevated-leisure-habitat.md) - [Understated Modernist Artful Homes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/child-studio-1.md)
