His goal was to be able to watch TV on a cell phone, and with this new Brix design, that is exactly what you can do. Depending on how many Brix bezel-less mobile phones you have, you can expand your screen to nearly any size and dimension! This revolutionary idea does not stop there, as it also enables you to have conversations with other Brix users. If you have always wanted to transform your mobile into a [big-screen TV](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/lg-stanbyme-2) to watch movies or play your favorite games, Seokwon Hong has finally answered your prayers. Unfortunately, a concept like this will inevitably be extremely pricey. But if you have bad eyesight, are tired of using your old cell phone and are willing to throw down some cash, then this concept mobile might just be the perfect gift for yourself. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.0/10 - Popularity: 48% | Activity: 33% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Expandable Screen Technology:** The concept of attachable screens for mobile phones opens up new possibilities for expanding the screen size and dimension, providing a disruptive innovation opportunity in the smartphone industry. - **Mobile-integrated Television:** The integration of TV functionality in mobile phones allows users to watch their favorite shows and movies on the go, creating a disruptive innovation opportunity in the entertainment industry. - **Enhanced Communication Experience:** The ability to have conversations with other users through the Brix design introduces a new level of interactive communication, presenting a disruptive innovation opportunity in the telecommunications industry. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Smartphone Industry:** The expandable screen technology has the potential to revolutionize the smartphone industry by providing a flexible and customizable display experience. - **Entertainment Industry:** The integration of television functionality in mobile phones opens up new opportunities for content consumption on a portable device, disrupting the entertainment industry. - **Telecommunications Industry:** The enhanced communication experience offered by the Brix design presents a disruptive innovation opportunity in the telecommunications industry, redefining how users interact with their devices. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Innovative Size-Changing Phones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/motorola-rizr.md) - [Folding Multi-Display Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tecno-phantom-vision-v.md) - [Transforming Tablet Smartphones](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/samsung-galaxy-fold-mini-concept.md) - [Flexible Folding Concept Phone](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/flex-in-out-flip.md) - [Double-Display Smartphone Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/duo-phone.md) - [Tri-Folding Smartphone Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tecno-phantom-ultimate-2.md) - [Multifunctional Foldable Mobile Devices](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/move-mobile-device.md) - [Smartphone-Powered Portable Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/onze-portable-display.md) - [Transforming Smart Display Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/concept-display.md)
