If you think there's only an automatic flush system, then you're not thinking big enough. For $12,000 these toilets automatically open, close, wash your behind, flush and have heated seats -- for those cold winter days. But the best part is, according to Racked, "there's even a built-in mysterious massage feature," and what it massages no one exactly knows. The Toto brand toilets give going to the bathroom a whole new meaning. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 3.8/10 - Popularity: 42% | Activity: 63% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Unique](https://www.trendhunter.com/unique) > [Inventions](https://www.trendhunter.com/inventions) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Luxury Bathroom Experiences:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop high-end bathroom fixtures that combine cutting-edge technology with ultimate comfort for a truly indulgent bathroom experience. - **Intelligent Toilets:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create toilets equipped with artificial intelligence and smart features that optimize personal hygiene, energy efficiency, and user convenience, revolutionizing the traditional bathroom experience. - **Advanced Toilet Automation:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Engineer toilets with advanced automation capabilities, including touchless activation, self-cleaning mechanisms, and customized settings, to enhance hygiene and convenience for users. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Bathroom Fixtures:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Redesign bathroom fixtures, such as sinks, showers, and bathtubs, by integrating state-of-the-art technology and customizable features to elevate the overall bathing experience. - **Smart Home Technology:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Develop smart home systems that seamlessly integrate intelligent toilets and bathroom fixtures with a centralized control system, enabling homeowners to monitor and optimize their bathroom experience from anywhere. - **Wellness and Self-care:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Create wellness-focused products and services that promote self-care and relaxation in the bathroom space, catering to the growing demand for holistic well-being and personal indulgence. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Smart Toilet Designs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/smart-toilets.md) - [Futuristic Intelligent Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/intelligent-toilet.md) - [Smart Bidet Toilet Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/e930.md) - [Brutalist Smart Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/formation-02.md) - [Automated Maintenance Toilet Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/icleaningo-bidet-toilet-seat-dc02.md) - [Artfully Sculptured Textured Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-formation-02.md) - [Dual-Wand Bidet Toilet Seats](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bidet-toilet-seat1.md) - [Luxury Mobile Toilets](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/luxury-mobile-toilet.md) - [Powerful Vortex Toilet Bowls](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/twistflush-toilet.md)
