# Constructivist Timber Coat Hooks Toque Wall Rack Has a Ledge and Hook for Every Outdoor Accessory By Amelia Roblin | Published 2013-02-13 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/toque-wall-rack References: [trunkstudio](http://trunkstudio.com/collections/premiere/products/toque-wall-rack) A shelf nor a row of pegs alone really suffices to deal with the mountains of outerwear that build up in the colder months. The Toque Wall Rack is a combination of both of these storage solutions, facilitating a tidier entryway with its reception of a diverse range of items. The [Trunk Studio](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/trunkhotel-cat-street) [shelving unit](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/qurv) is available in walnut or birch and each one is masterly handcrafted. The shelving system is constructed as an assembly of perpendicular pieces of wood that form ledges, edges and a wall-mounting board. Upon two of the panels, [clothes hooks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/grip-hanger) have been fixed. A small one on the side is ideal for holding your keys while a series of thicker pegs are strong enough to support the weight of heavy jackets. The Toque Wall Rack is great for arranging and drying out winter hats and mitts as well. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.2/10 - Popularity: 37% | Activity: 22% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What's Driving This Trend - **Hybrid Storage Solutions:** Combining the functionality of a shelf and pegs, hybrid storage solutions present opportunities to create unique designs with added benefits for organization. - **Handcrafted Home Decor:** The demand for unique, handcrafted home decor is presenting opportunities for artisans to experiment with new designs and materials. - **Smart Entryway Solutions:** Technology-driven smart entryway solutions are presenting opportunities for creating more efficient and organized living spaces. ### Who This Affects Most - **Furniture Manufacturing:** Furniture manufacturing is an industry that can benefit from creating innovative hybrid storage solutions to meet the demand for more unique and functional home decor. - **Artisan Crafts:** The artisan crafts industry can capitalize on the trend for handmade and unique home decor with innovative designs and materials. - **Home Automation:** The home automation industry can benefit from creating technology-driven solutions like smart entryway systems that facilitate efficient and organized living spaces. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Vertical Coat Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-bugle.md) - [Tripod-Like Garment Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/multifunctional-coat-rack.md) - [Wall-Mounted Wall Rack](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/velto.md) - [Modular Organized Shelving Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/unit-shelving-system.md) - [Minimal Shoe Rack Concepts](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tokyo-shoe-rack.md) - [Open-Concept Clothing Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/bauhutte-clothes-hanger-rack.md) - [Living Storage Systems](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/treevive.md) - [Stylish Multi-Use Entryway Racks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/entryway-shoe-rack.md) - [Smiley Clothing Wall Hooks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/itsahook.md)
