# Blow-Up Tongue Slides Assume Vivid Astro Focus Creates One Badass Slide in Oslo By Rachel | Published 2010-03-12 | Art & Design Source: Trend Hunter, https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/tongue-slide References: [vvork](http://www.vvork.com/?p=18942#respond) & [gallery.me](http://gallery.me.com/astrofocus#gallery) Something feels inappropriate about a [blowup tongue slide](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/forest-dancer) between two blowup high heeled legs, but it's fun nonetheless. The tongue slide was made by Assume Vivid Astro focus (I know, badass name for a badass slide) and was at the [National Museum](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doha-modern-playground) in Oslo. Like I said, I don't know how comfortable I'd be letting my kids go down this slide, but it looks like lots of fun. Check out this crazy neon creation here. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 2.3/10 - Popularity: 46% | Activity: 16% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe, Asia ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Art & Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/artdesign) > [Design](https://www.trendhunter.com/design) ## Key Themes ### What Makes This Trend Stand Out - **Blow-up Tongue Slides:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Designing unconventional and visually striking playground equipment to attract children and create unique play experiences. - **Assume Vivid Astro Focus:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Collaborating with artists and designers to create bold and unconventional installations that capture attention and enhance public spaces. - **Neon Creations:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Incorporating neon lighting and bold aesthetics into various products and environments to create immersive and visually captivating experiences. ### Sectors Adopting This - **Playground Equipment:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Developing unconventional and visually intriguing slides, swings, and structures to revolutionize the concept of playgrounds and enhance children's playtime. - **Art and Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Exploring collaborations between artists, designers, and architects to create unconventional installations and structures that challenge traditional norms and provide unique experiences. - **Lighting and Visual Design:** Disruptive innovation opportunity: Pushing the boundaries of lighting design by using neon lights and vibrant visuals to transform spaces and evoke emotions in various industries, from retail to entertainment. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Colorful Dynamic Acoustic Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/otonomori.md) - [Colorfully Inflatable Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/blowup-art-the-hague.md) - [Vibrantly Pink Skelter Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/stay-playful.md) - [Heritage Sound Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/hornscape-playground.md) - [Generational-Lasting Dynamic Playgrounds](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mike-hewson-2.md) - [Abstract Colorfully Vibrant Playscapes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/wired-scape.md) - [Sandwich-Inspired Water Slides](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dip-n-slides.md) - [Skateable Pyramid Art Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/playlab.md) - [Explorative Artwork Playground Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/the-cuddly-playground.md)
