Tommaso Ausili is an Italian photographer who's projects tend to take up a lot of contemporary world issues. His work is both for editorial and personal purposes; however, his latest shoot, 'The Hidden Death,' will definitely touch everyone on a personal level.

In 'The Hidden Death,' Tommaso Ausili visits a slaughter house in Umbria, Italy, where he captures some of the gruesome experiences that the animals endure during their time there. If you're a vegetarian, or massive animal lover, you may not want to flip through the gallery.

The photo series by Tommaso Ausili was to get people to see the pain without actually hearing it, and for himself to better understand the world of slaughterhouses. The series is captivating and definitely memorable.
