Tom falls madly in love with another cat and showers his sweetie with all sorts of gifts including jewelry and even a car -- but she doesn't seem to be impressed with his meagre fortune. He even signs away his arm and a leg for her, but alas, to no avail. When things go awry, he later becomes an alcoholic. Why? Mr. Butch (Tom's rival) stole his love away from him. The heartbroken Tom winds up in the gutter and sadly, Mr. Butch ends up marrying Tom's only true love. Of course, all of this is narrated by a 1950's deadpan voice, which adds to the eerie feeling of the short clip. The episode ends off with Tom on the train tracks with a train approaching... This is definitely not a pick-me-upper. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 0.3/10 - Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 50% men, 50% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Pop Culture](https://www.trendhunter.com/popculture) > [Humor](https://www.trendhunter.com/humor) ## Related on Trend Hunter - [Unwinding Superhero Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/avengers-day-off.md) - [Historical Disney Infographics](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/history-of-mickey-mouse.md) - [Realistic Royal Cartoons (UPDATE)](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/realistic-disney.md) - [Cartoon Character Model Lookbooks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/mishka-fall-2012.md) - [Cartoonish Felt Collages](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jacopo-rosati.md) - [Sci-Fi Cartoon Mash-Ups](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/jason-peltz.md) - [Arcade-Inspired Character Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/pac-mods.md) - [Urban Cartoon Dragon Figurines](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dweezil.md)
