Christmas and the holiday season in general can be a joyful time of goodwill and cheer, but as Tom Hatfield knows, it is also a time when a huge amount of [Christmas trees](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/all-lit-up) get thrown to the wayside without so much as a second thought.

In order to make a point about this [unnecessary waste](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/objects-from-frames), the crafty designer began creating vintage-styled, [upcycled sleighs](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/upcycled-sauna) out of discarded Christmas tree branches. Because he chose not to treat the sleigh, the untouched wood not only looks awesome, but also retains the powerfully nostalgic smell of a Christmas tree throughout the winter.
