Documenting some of the "characters that frequent Wentworth Park Greyhound races," this Australian photographer has put together quite the interesting portfolio. Each crisp portrait in the Toby Dixon 'The Lure' photo series is full of personality. Constantly drawn to unconventional people, Dixon will undoubtedly continue to create interesting works. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 5.9/10 - Popularity: 91% | Activity: 79% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 70% men, 30% women - Primary generations: Gen Z, Millennial, Gen X - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Lifestyle](https://www.trendhunter.com/lifestyle) > [Pets](https://www.trendhunter.com/pets) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Dog Racing Photography:** Capturing dog racing frequenters in unique and compelling ways through photography offers a disruptive innovation opportunity in the world of sports and lifestyle photography. - **Unconventional Portraiture:** Exploring unconventional individuals and their stories through portraiture presents a disruptive innovation opportunity in the field of contemporary art and photography. - **Contextual Documentaries:** Creating documentary-style photo series that provide insights into niche communities, such as the frequenters of dog racing, opens up disruptive innovation opportunities in the field of visual storytelling and documentary photography. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Sports Photography:** Utilizing innovative techniques to capture action-packed moments in dog racing events could revolutionize the field of sports photography. - **Contemporary Art:** Integrating unconventional subjects and narratives into contemporary art forms can disrupt the traditional art world and create new possibilities for artistic expression. - **Visual Storytelling:** Using photography to document and tell in-depth stories about niche communities and subcultures can disrupt traditional documentary practices and create new avenues for media expression. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [AI Pet Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/drawmypet.md) - [Custom Pet Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/portrait-mom.md) - [Artful Elevated Litter Boxes](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/doggy-bathroom-1.md) - [Pet-Taken Camera Initiatives](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/heartography.md) - [Striking Urban Wildlife Art](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/clare-allin.md) - [Dog-Themed Puzzles](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/dogthemed-puzzle.md) - [AI Pet Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/petpic-ai.md) - [Artful Doghouse Design Exhibitions](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/architecture-for-dogs-exhibition.md) - [Spooky Charming Pet Portraits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/crown-paw.md)
