Full of [magic and mystery](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/surreal-street-art-1), and made even more special since he is often simply capturing everyday scenes, TJ Scott's photographic portfolio is a feast for the eyes. Based in Los Angeles, California, TJ Scott has a writing and directing background, so it is no surprise that his work has such a fantastic film quality. I think that he must have [worked with lights](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/evening-sky) in a past lifetime, but that is the single most important and influential element in each of his images. Overall, TJ Scott is an artist who seems to do it all. ## Trend Insights (Trend Hunter) - Score: 4.9/10 - Popularity: 79% | Activity: 60% | Freshness: 8% - Audience gender: 30% men, 70% women - Primary generations: Millennial - Top markets: North America, Europe ## Categories [Trend Hunter](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends) > [Fashion](https://www.trendhunter.com/fashion) > [Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/stylephotography) ## Key Themes ### Why This Trend Is Growing - **Cinematic Photography:** Opportunity: Develop new techniques for capturing everyday scenes in a cinematic and visually stunning way. - **Magic and Mystery:** Opportunity: Create immersive and enchanting experiences through photography that evoke emotions and captivate audiences. - **Film-quality Photography:** Opportunity: Explore innovative ways to replicate the aesthetic of films in photography, enhancing the storytelling aspect. ### Industries Being Reshaped - **Photography:** Opportunity: Introduce advanced camera equipment and editing tools that enable photographers to achieve a cinematic look. - **Entertainment:** Opportunity: Collaborate with filmmakers and visual effects artists to incorporate cinematic photography into movie productions. - **Tourism:** Opportunity: Utilize cinematic photography to promote travel destinations, creating a sense of awe and allure for potential visitors. ## Related on Trend Hunter - [AI Travel Photography](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/epic-ai-travel-photos.md) - [Travel-Friendly Location Scouting](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/locationscout.md) - [Painting-Immersive Photo Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/new-ground-exhibition.md) - [Photography Project Series](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/still-life-1.md) - [Illuminated Curtained Light Installations](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/making-the-invisible-visible.md) - [Immersive Light Exhibits](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/spencer-finch.md) - [Eclipse-Themed Rooftop Artworks](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/arc-zero.md) - [Public Art Displays](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/paul-anthony-smith.md) - [Therapeutic Sunset-Inspired Cards](https://www.trendhunter.com/trends/sunset-spark-card-deck.md)
